Rendering pencil on coloured paper and adding touches of gouache and pastel really gave this page a unique quality. I used to have work-holidays on a friend of the family's dairy farm when I was a kid - and the road and the animals were inspired by that. Sadly all the Adelaide Hills dairy farms are all gone now...
