My chance to do Sergio Leone, but the peasants were here inspired by Yugoslavian and Chinese costumes. Years later, Joss Whedon would try something similar with his amazing Firefly series. Once again, pencils and gouache were used. Bill Mumy's writing in this page was definitely a nod to Pale Rider etc. One of my favourite films.
