0039 Butterfly

A friend of mine was working in a kite shop at the time and suggested I do a pinup based on kites. The figure is inspired by, but not drawn from, Petra Verkaik. The background is a stitch of several photos I took of sunsets in the parklands down the street from my house. The red shoes are like Dorothy’s in the Wizard Of Oz. First Published - 2001.
